Eid al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr (Ramadan Holidays) was celebrated at Taza Pir mosque, in Baku today.

Eid prayer was performed in the presence of Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh. Chairman of CMO congratulates all muslims, as well Azerbaijani people

Month of Ramadan, which began on June 18, ends today. 

In Azerbaijan, the sacred month of Ramadan began on June 18 according to the fatwa issued by the Gazi Council of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO).

The Caucasus Muslims Board announced that the Eid prayer on the occasion of the end of Ramadan will be performed at 10.00 AM in Taza Pir Mosque and at 9:00 AM in Ajdarbay Mosque on July 18.

Fasting is completed with holiday of 'Eid al-Fitr'. All the wealthy Muslims on that day should help the poor. Fitr must be given before the Eid prayer. The minimum amount is approximately AZN 5-10 for each family member.
